Last night my boyfriend and I went on a date to see Alice in Wonderland. (Amazing, I reccomend.) There were so many different costume changes for Alice, and those completely captivated me. My favorite dress was this red and black "made from curtains" dress. My bf even turned to me and said he loved it, which I responded with an astonished look and said "you're actually interested in fashion!??!" then I was proud of him. But back to the dress. I did some research and lo and behold, Colleen Atwood was the designer. Of course, Tim Burton loves having her design pieces for his movies. (She did the dress I would KILL for from Sleepy Hollow) She said she was determined to not make "cookie cutter" Alice dresses that anyone could buy at a costume shop or drugstore. I love her adaptation so much better. This dress is amazing, and I'm determined to attain something similar to it or just make something like it to wear everywhere I can.
